Other than my husband (the director) being hospitalized, getting MRSA and being on antibiotics for 10 days the production went well.

Dan's First Feature Film

Dan begins shooting his first feature film on Tuesday!

I'm so happy for him & so proud of him.

The film takes place in a small Northeast Texas town.

Synopsis: Kaleb, a young Rodeo Clown/Bull Fighter, struggles with the realities of small town life. His troubles are made worse when he discovers the rodeo he works for is using the bulls to traffic drugs between Texas and Mexico and more people in this little sleepy Texas town are involved than he ever imagined.

I plan to up and visit him this week & hope to capture some set pictures.

I CAN cook!

That is when I have to. :)

My husband is out of town right now doing pre-production work for his film and so that leaves me in the kitchen. Uh-oh. I went to what would be easiest for me and something I used to make when I was living with my parents.

Yesterday, I made roast chicken with garlic, thyme and roasted celery & carrots and roasted broccoli on the side. I wish I had onion & potatoes, but I made do with what I had in the house. It was delicious!
