Yummy Treat for the "kids"

I found this recipe in my veterinarian's newsletter.

Pumpkin pup puffs

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups oats
1/4 cup applesauce

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto an ungreased baking sheet and press flat with a fork. Bake for approximately 15 minutes and then cook on a baking rack before serving. To maximize freshness, be sure to store the puffs in an airtight container.

If your dog has a pre-existing medical condition, consult your veterinarian before adding a new food to your Pet's diet.

Baby Dan looks content

Sissy, on the other hand, looks downright full

She never lies on her back for so long, I was getting worried, but she's fine

Ohhhh, I bet Chloe would LOVE those. Thanks for sharing the recipe. And the photos of the pups afterwards are too funny, they look quite content! =)

Hey there girly! Just noticed your comments on my blog :)

I was totally drooling over the pumpkin puffs, and then I noticed they were for your dogs! Haha, I felt like such a loser. But hey, I don't see "dog food" listed as an ingredient, so they may still be tasty t humans right?! I blame the pregnancy for the craving!

Your doggies are way too cute!

Hey Jessica--
Yeah humans can have them too, but they aren't so yummy (not enough sugar for me). :)
