Baking Cupcakes

We bought Martha's cupcake book. Big mistake. :)

We made four different cupcakes and only once did I remember to take a picture (they were that good!) so I just took pictures of the cupcakes in the book. :)

The first ones that we made were these wonderful
Pistachio-Raspberry Tea Cakes


We didn't have pistachios or raspberries
so we made them with what we had blackberries and almonds. :)


The next ones we made were these delicious strawberry cupcakes!
They were my favorite.

Then came the scrumptious mint-filled brownie cupcake.
So good!

And last, but certainly not least were the perfect roasted banana cupcakes.
Yum!!!

New Additions to the Garden

We finally have a gnome in our garden.
I have always wanted a gnome, but was never able to find the perfect one.
Well we found one this past weekend at a local nursery.

I don't have a name for him yet. :)

Meet Chuy (get it?), our lil' metal goat. Love him!

We found him at another local feed store. He's perfect.

Dan found a few onions growing in our garden too.

Thanks Mom and Dad for buying me my yet to be named gnome and Chuy!

Wanting their mama's attention

My "kids" always want me to hold them or they like being right "up my butt".

If I'm holding one, the other wants to be held too.
They are mama's babies. :)

Sissy seems to love the computer. Every time I'm on the computer she always wants to be right beside/behind me.

I had just received my 1st Mac and she wanted to check it out.
And in 2008 (excuse the weird eyes)

This afternoon while I was sitting at the bar on my computer Baby Dan wanted to be picked up (he actually taps the bar stool with his nails). I pick him up. Then, Sissy comes around the corner and sees that I'm holding him and wants up too. She stands up to the bar stool so that I can easily reach her.

I've got my hands full. :)

Garden Update

An updated pic of the garden.

Look at our corn!!! I love watching it grow. So far we have 2 corn on the cob growing. :)
If our berries don't start growing/maturing we just might have to re-name our garden Chihuahua Corn Farm. :P

You can't tell from this pic, but this is a pink tomato!

A pretty red tomato.

Sliced Red and Yellow tomatoes. Yum! I can eat these because they have less acid than store bought.
